Located in Queensberry, Central Otago, this design proposes a ‘farm house’ style structure in keeping with the historic forms and materials used locally for the past 200 years. Park like grounds and paddocks front and rear afford open views and light to the living and sleeping spaces located on the north facing elevation. Timber screens are employed to provide external solar shading and privacy. The living space on the west opens up directly to the exterior deck connecting the interior and exterior.
